How to Vote

This election will be conducted entirely by mail. Ballots will be mailed to registered voters in mid-June. Your ballot must be returned to your county election office by 5 p.m. on Tuesday, July 14. The ballot must be sealed inside the official Return Identification Envelope provided with your ballot.

 

You may return your ballot in one of these ways:

US Mail

Mail your sealed Return Identification Envelope as soon as possible, and no later than Thursday, July 2, to help ensure it arrives on time. Be sure to add the correct postage.

         

Hand Deliver

Ballots must be received by 5 p.m. on Tuesday, July 14. You may hand-deliver your ballot to your county election office during business hours or place it in the official Election Drop Box outside the office.

Track Your Ballot

Nebraska voters can track the status of their mail-in ballot online.

 

After returning your ballot, visit the Nebraska Secretary of State's website to confirm it has been received and counted by election officials. Simply click the button below, then enter your name and county to check.

Register to Vote Today

 

Do you know if you are registered to vote? Check your voter status using the "Check Voting Status" button below. You can register online or in person. The last day to register to vote online is Friday, June 26. The last day to register to vote in person at your county election official's office is Monday, July 6.
